Bloodmoon Bastion.

A free gothic pixel-art tower defence game. Hold the shrine as the dead climb the road, night after night. Build towers, upgrade and evolve them, stack relics, and see how long you can last.

  • Endless nights that keep getting harder, with a boss every fifth night
  • Sixteen maps to unlock, each with its own soundtrack. The later ones are bigger, longer and far harder, and four hide secrets
  • Thirteen towers and seventeen relics to upgrade, master and evolve. Bank gold between runs to buy new ones in the Armoury, and build up to five decks to suit your play style
  • Nine champions to recruit, each with a gift, a drawback and an ability, who level up beside your shrine and earn renown and new outfits
  • 50 achievements that reveal hidden towers, relics, champions, power-ups and two secret modes
  • Feeling lucky? Wing it and let fate pick your upgrades
  • Autosave and save slots, so any run picks up where you left it

Leaderboards.

Live from the game. Pick a board: all maps together, any single map, or the most monsters slain. Pick a name in the game to join them.

DeadAcreZ.

A homestead at the end of the world. You start with six survivors, a campfire and one wooden pickaxe. Turn a patch of the valley into a working farm settlement, wall it in, and hold it every night as the dead come across the fields.

  • Build log houses, wheat fields, chicken coops, cattle pens, a hospital, a market and more, then ring the lot with palisades, stone walls and gun towers
  • Days for farming and building, nights for holding the walls. The longer you last, the worse the nights get
  • Send survivors out on expeditions and deal with the other settlements in the valley
  • Three ways to end it: call in the rescue Chinook, fix the truck and drive out in a convoy, or never leave and see how many nights you can survive
  • Easy, Normal and Hard, plus save slots so your homestead is there when you come back
  • Best on a computer with a mouse and keyboard. It also plays with touch: drag to move, pinch to zoom

Zombie, horde and wave survival.

Both games are built around the same idea: the dead come in waves, and every night is harder than the last. How you survive is up to you.

  • DeadAcreZ is a zombie survival base builder. Spend the day farming, building and sending out expeditions, then hold your palisades and gun towers when the horde hits at night
  • Bloodmoon Bastion is wave-based tower defence. Build and evolve towers along the road as the undead march on your shrine, with a boss every fifth night

If you've played They Are Billions, 7 Days to Die, State of Decay or Project Zomboid, DeadAcreZ will feel familiar: build up by day, hold the walls by night, and keep your people alive. Looking for more like it? These guides cover the best zombie survival and base building games, free and paid.

More games on the way.

Skengers is growing into its own games brand. New free games are added here as they're ready, and the Discord hears about them first. Got an idea for the next one? Tell us there.

Built a game, a mod, a map or a tool yourself? Show it off in the Discord and it could end up on this page too.
