Escape from Tarkov squad & Discord.
Tarkov solo is brutal. One bad peek and your kit's gone. It's a whole different game with a squad who'll hold the stairs, share the loot and laugh about it when it all goes sideways.
Skengers has Tarkov players across the UK, Europe, North America and Oceania, so there's usually someone around for a raid — whether it's your first wipe or your tenth.
How the crew plays Tarkov.
- Ask in the Discord for a duo, trio or full squad and someone will usually jump in
- New to Tarkov? Say so. Nobody's going to gatekeep you for not knowing every extract
- Quest grinding, loot runs or just messing about — no pressure to sweat every raid
- Push-to-mute on, so footsteps and callouts aren't buried under background noise
Tarkov after 1.0.
After eight years in early access, Escape from Tarkov hit its full 1.0 release on 15 November 2025 and is now on Steam as well as Battlestate's own launcher. Every PvP profile was wiped at launch, so the whole player base started level with each other. There's also a PvE mode, where you raid against AI only. It's a good place to learn maps and quests without losing your kit to a player camping an extract.
Why Tarkov is better with a squad.
Solo Tarkov is brutal: one mistake and your gear is gone. A squad covers angles, watches each other's backs while someone heals or loots, and carries more out. The bigger win is knowledge. Experienced players know extracts, key spawns and which quests are worth doing early, and new players skip hours of trial and error by raiding with them.
How Skengers runs Tarkov raids.
Tarkov is amazing, and it's intense and unforgiving. That's the appeal, and it's also why who you raid with matters more than what you bring.
Skengers has a real mix of Tarkov players: people who know the maps inside out, and people still working out where the extracts are. If you're new, you won't be the only one, and nobody's going to roast you for dying to a scav. (OK, they might. Lovingly.)
With members across four regions and anywhere from 5 to 40 people online, someone's usually gearing up whatever the time. Shout in Discord and you'll have a squad. During a season it gets sweaty: planned routes, tight comms, no wasted loot. Between seasons it's a lot more relaxed.

New to Tarkov? Start here.

- Learn one map first. Ask in the Tarkov channel which one the crew recommends.
- Bring cheap kit on your first raids. You will lose it, and that's fine.
- Say you're new in Discord. Someone will take you in and show you the extracts.
- Push-to-mute on, so footsteps and callouts stay clear.
