Rust group & Discord.
Rust punishes solo players. You need people to farm while you build, to watch the base while you roam, and to log on at 3am when the raid starts.
Skengers has Rust players across four regions, which matters in a game where someone always needs to be online. Ask in the Discord and you'll find people to start a wipe with.
How the crew plays Rust.
- Find a group for wipe day in the Discord instead of rolling the dice with randoms
- Members across the UK, EU, NA and OCE, so there's usually someone around to help defend
- Builders, farmers, roamers and raiders all welcome
- Check #match-info to see what the crew is playing right now
How Rust's wipe cycle works.
Rust runs in cycles. On the first Thursday of every month, Facepunch force-wipes every server at around 7pm UK time: the map regenerates and every base, item and deployable is gone. Blueprints survive a normal force wipe, but Facepunch sometimes adds a blueprint wipe too, and then everyone starts completely fresh. Community servers pick their own cycles on top of that, usually weekly, every two weeks or monthly, but they all reset on force wipe day.
That makes wipe day the best time to join a group. Everyone starts with a rock and a torch, nobody has a head start, and the first few hours decide who ends up with a base worth raiding.
Why Rust is better in a group.
A solo player in Rust spends most of their time farming and hiding. A group can split jobs: one farms, one builds, one roams, one watches the base. That means faster progress and a base that's harder to raid. And someone is online to defend when the raid comes at 3am.
How Skengers plays Rust.
Rust is home turf for a lot of Skengers. Plenty of the crew have run with big Rust zergs over the years, The Scourge (TS) among them, and Skengers has pulled off some big zerg pushes of its own. Wipe day gets run by people who've done it many, many times.
When the wipe drops, it's sweaty from the first minute: roles handed out, nodes farmed, and a base up before most of the server has a furnace. Groups run anywhere from 5 to 40 people, and with members in four regions there's nearly always someone home when the 3am raid comes.
Once the wipe settles down, so does the crew, and people drift into casual games until the next one.

- Be there for the first hours after the wipe. That's when the base gets built.
- Agree roles early: farming, building, roaming.
- Push-to-mute on, so raid callouts stay clear.
